I think Salsa is meant to be a compact dance tho' isn't it because of being danced in packed clubs so all the steps are quite tight. (someone with more dance knowledge will correct me I'm sure)

Think maybe they could have done with making the floor smaller & putting more seats in. Would have combatted some of the echo & given the dancers an easier task of actually dancing 'properly'! But I'm being sucked in by the excitement of it all!
