I am no professional and don't have any clue other than what I like but I think the pointy toes suit the jive and I thought Alex did look a little clumpy - fun though!

And I adore Ian - look forward to his Wednesday Warm Ups and I think a couple of weeks back he was saying how being a professional dancer means you ALWAYS look in the mirror, you can't help yourself... so agree with everyone who says he loves himself a tad but he is well aware of it and I think it's quite charming! And love his and Zoe's relationship - really warm and affectionate!

I would lurve to dance with either him or Matt but think I would be a bit dinky for them, probably end up with Vincent which I wouldn't like nearly so much (he's a bit of a lech!)

Dress looks like a Vivienne Westwood Anglomania - although they've become very popular this season with a lot of designers doing them. My mind's gone blank, but there's one called Isabel something - does maternity wear as well - she has one in her catalogue for about £100. I expect NotYummy will come along and shed some light soon!

Vivienne Westwood but not the same colour. The other one was Isabella Oliver, although hers are again not quite the same. I agree it's gorgeous.

Isabella Oliver? It did look a bit like this. It was quite conservative for a dancer, they usually wear quite slutty revealing outfits on ITT!

AvengingGerbil, I'm not a dance person so am probably talking rubbish, but if I understood Craig rightly he didn't say you must point your toes per se. He said you should make a decision to either point the toes or flex the ankles rather than let the feet just flop about without any strong direction or shape. So James was misunderstanding/misquoting him.

Not a topic but so have just booked for Vincent and Flavia's Midnight Tango in April.

Yes, James is a bit combative at times. Craig is also always painted as the villain, but in fact he is, IMO, always spot on in his criticism, uses the full range of marks instead of going for the 7 as a default eh, Len or flashing 10s about when he fancies someone Alesha, and, I suspect, is a very nice and funny individual. Claudia W once said in an interview that she'd go for lunch with Len and cocktails with Bruno, but that Craig was a gorgeous lovely person and she'd go on holiday with him. And I trust Claudia.

Thanks LadyClarice - that's what I thought Craig said too, but then James was so adamant that he was just wrong that I thought perhaps I had misheard. James seems very annoying.

How come it's Wembly not Blackpool this year?

Blackpool Tower has been sold and the ballroom closed, from what I understand. I don't think there will be any more dancing at the Tower

All the dance competitions are held elsewhere in Blackpool now - is it the Winter Gardens? I'm not 100% sure.

I'm very confused - I was convinced that someone had told me that the Tower Ballroom was no longer in use because I remember someone else saying that they hoped the organ would be saved. Perhaps I'm going senile!!

Am working in a Children in Need call centre this evening so have got a big screen but no sound so got to see the lovely Ian dancing but all silent!

Was nice to see Robin pick up the glitterball as don't think he'll do it with Anita (although don't mind being proved wrong here!)..

Wa simpressed Robin and Pasha had the time to do it, to be honest!
