rockinastocking - the standing up pasta in the bottom of the pan freaks me out too. It's too tubular - looks like intestines or summat.

Pasta related question of the week - when I hoover up the pasta under the kitchen table the next week day, it's gone hard. It's identical to how it was before I cooked it. If times get tough, could I re-use the pasta - just cook it again? Empty the Dyson, reboil?
