Dont get me wrong, Im not a snob but, really? I get what he sees in Julie and Im looking forward to them having a little family. Couldnt they have found somewhere abit nicer to live and, less "bijou"?

This issue always irked me in Brookside. You had the Farnham's with their Hummous and Bruschettea next door to the Corkhill's with their drucks.
I would find myself muttering every time it was aired.

kitya · 07/11/2011 11:13

dont get me started on the doctor going out with the barmaid/girl from the corner shop. In what life does that happen? I am aware that Im sounding very snobby btw......

Agree Kitya, I didn't think GPs were allowed to start dating their patients anyway.

Lookattheears, Max Farnham and Jackie Dixon, hmmm.

kitya · 07/11/2011 11:22

I loved Brookside more than all of them Sad

I was watching an old ep of the Sweeney recently and Harold Cross was on it, remember him?

kittya · 12/11/2011 18:53

Mmmm... there is something about Tyrones girlfriend, isnt there?

Poor Lloyd tonight. Sad

scaevola · 12/11/2011 19:10

Tyrone's girlfriend is just occupying space She doesn't seem to do anything at all. Can't see the point, really.

It's rather annoying that characters whose story lines are not at the forefront can disappear for weeks at a time. It makes it all too disjointed: where are David and Kylie, and Max? What's Audrey up to? Where was Maria all last week? What's Becky been doing in the last fortnight?

And when will Betty's exit take place?

kittya · 12/11/2011 19:34

Leading up to Chrismas, I will miss her. What about Cheryl will she find out what a liar Chris is? I hope so. Sophie is supposed to be marrying her girlfriend soon, I can't wait to see Sallies face!

scaevola · 13/11/2011 19:56

Sophie's only just turned 17, hasn't she? In which case it's a year before she could do so, unless she got parent's consent (unlikely), and Corrie's done elopement to Scotland before.

katkitya · 13/11/2011 22:38

I thought that was her 18th party last week?

scaevola · 13/11/2011 22:43

Yes, I though that too - but according to the ITV Corrie site, she was born in 1994. I can count, can't I?

katkitya · 14/11/2011 21:10

I was in bits tonight!! Sad poor Chesney.
