who wants an animal as a pet that can eat you?

Selks · 30/10/2011 21:39

lol, Gush!

Aerobreaking · 30/10/2011 21:40

Erm, the monkey's tongue was in it's mouth.

This is heartbreakingly awful.

(+ this is definitely the most scared I have ever seen Louis)

Aerobreaking · 30/10/2011 21:40

Monkey's tongue in the man's mouth, that is. It's tongue is obviously in its own mouth as well.

roisin · 30/10/2011 21:41

I watched a bit and just couldn't stomach it.
It made me feel physically sick and very very angry.

iarebaboon · 30/10/2011 21:42

W. T. Actual. F

A kangaroo in a pushchair?

Oh these poor poor creatures. Sad

mousyfledermaus · 30/10/2011 21:44

hope the chimp wasn't hurt when he bashed the window.

OP posts:
Gemjar · 30/10/2011 21:47

iare that was my exact reaction to the kangeroo as well.

I really do try not to mock Americans, but some of them just make it so easy

zippadeedoodaa · 30/10/2011 21:49

What did he say about 1400 animals?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 30/10/2011 21:51

The bloke with the white tiger deserves to be tiger food. What. A. Tit. Love the way he was pulling on the humungous tiger's thin lead and saying 'LEAVE IT' when the tiger looked a bit like eating someone. One day that tiger will get bored and bite his stupid, arrogant head off and use it as a football. He genuinely seems to be under the delusion that he is in control of that creature

Ariesgirl · 30/10/2011 21:53

These chimps are just heartbreaking.

thenightsky · 30/10/2011 21:54

I love Louis. He plays it all innocent and naive and gets people to say things they otherwise wouldn't.

mousyfledermaus · 30/10/2011 21:55

the poor chimps. anything seems wrong after seeing the happy chimps at monkey world...

OP posts:
ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 30/10/2011 21:55

Yes :( The mental distress is so obvious. All of the repetitive behaviour. They have tiny cages and no stimulation. Is anyone really this naive? Or are they just cruel fuckers? Angry

GHAHSTLYGHOULYpants · 30/10/2011 21:57

Me and DH are sat her agog! How come most if not all of Louis's documentaries are about southern americans? In that it seems to be the god fearing bible belt I have a gun and that is my right types?

meglet · 30/10/2011 21:59

gah! I meant to watch this. I saw a newspaper article about these big pets the other day, apparently there are more tigers in captivity in the States thatn live in the wild Shock.

Will try and catch the repeat.

iarebaboon · 30/10/2011 22:09

Why would anyone want loads of ugly cages full of noisy, unhappy, aggressive animals?. Why not have some flowers or trees in your garden instead?

chickflit · 30/10/2011 22:24

Missed this, do you know when it's repeated? I've had a flick through the planner but can't see it.

catgirl1976 · 31/10/2011 17:23

I found this so upsetting. Veered between rage and despair all the way through. So cruel and distressing. Do love how Louie acts so innocent and gets people to open up and tell him things they really shouldnt.

tooearlymustdache · 31/10/2011 17:31

it's on i-player chickflit

i watched it this afternoon - quite disturbing really

Wilts · 31/10/2011 21:07

I am just watching this now. I am Shock at the whole thing.

chickflit · 03/11/2011 09:21

I caught this last night on the repeat, it's unbelievable. The man with the white tiger he's going to get eaten one day - but that's okay because it's what he loves, what a complete dick ,and he doesn't respect or trust his wife, but she's the one paying the bills.

And the chimp breeder "yes I knew Travis' mom" "oh was she from here?" "I meant his human mom".

These people are all nutters. If I'd seen that animal roadshow in my local ASDA car park there's no way I'd be paying cash for my kids to have their photos taken with a tiger, and that poor little bear, it broke my heart.

Louis was bricking it though!

valiumredhead · 03/11/2011 16:21

That man was rather too fond of his monkey wasn't he? Love Louis Theroux!

ripstheirthroatoutliveupstairs · 04/11/2011 10:22

What a hideous show. I saw it last night and sat open mouthed for a lot of it.
The first man with the 164 tigers was a nobber. He was making money out of that foul animal road show thing. How can he live with himself? Twat.
