I think they might have been in full mourning for William...The actor who plays Matthew is in the Christmas special (as a ghost??? who knows????)

AKMD - I agree the spoiler posted here doesn't mention Sir R and it was such a big part of the trailer...but then it's bizarre that the pictures that have come out about Ep 5 have had nothing to do with the trailer theme...or is that typical of this series...
