I'm so overwhelmed with how manipulated the whole thing is this year that I have concluded that the young irish girl has been encouraged to dress no very well and have not great hair and poorly applied make-up at this stage (that's by comparing her to when she first appeared at the auditions where she wasn't a badly presented) so that when it comes to the live acts there will be the 'wow she looks amazing' thing going on
