can't believe House of Tiny Tearaways has just shown parents throwing Good Food in the bin as a good parenting technique! what about starving children everywhere? why can't they send them to me, for instance?

possibly this is why i'm three stone overweight

why did they do this acnebride? Should teach less waste ethic.

MrsSpoon · 08/12/2005 23:20

There was an episode of Wife Swap (I think that's swap it was?) once and they threw all the alcohol away!

followthestarlover · 08/12/2005 23:21

ah it's sad now

lady whose mum left home when she was 8 telling her it was her fault - big issues with food - she has a child who will only eat yogurt - part of process was getting rid of all the yogs she had brought with her to feed him

ah man reality tv can really get to you

still fancy a yogurt though

House setup annoys me. The kitchen is off limits to the kids who seem to just get their meals put in front of them. I think food prep helps kids to eat, understand not to waste & is a good parenting actvity.

MrsSpoon · 08/12/2005 23:27

Think the chips on HofTT look horrid.

SnowQueenVictoria · 08/12/2005 23:30

Its very rarely about the kids behaviour though is it? Its about the parents behaviour.

The kitchen being out of bounds in a communal place like that is a good idea IMO. Lots of H & S issues as far as the TV company are concerned anyway. They do partake in some food prep, but do it at the table rather than in the kitchen where you have breakables, sharps and heat.

milward · 08/12/2005 23:35

you're right snowqueen - it just annoys me though!!!!
