Sorry. :( I wasn't meaning to bring you down, and I really hope they are out to present your achievements in a postive light. But I just thought you should be aware that some production companies are less scrupulous than others when it comes to entertainment.

My sisters were involved in a Cutting Edge Documentary called The Dinner Party. The documentary was totally twisted. My sisters and my Mum had The Daily Mail banging on the door. It was really really awful. The man who did the documentary Paul Watson is well known for that sort of thing!!! Was a very stressful time! Just a warning for you!!

Best of luck. Hope it goes well, BUT I would definitley echo what others have said about producers having an agenda.

Be very, very careful!

I appeared in a broadsheet article once and was made to look like a total loon. The article was pitched to me as being about people with minor mental health problems. It was actually about care in the community gone very, very wrong. Thankfully I had opted to be anonymous. If I hadn't, it would have done a lot of damage to my professional life.

oh i LOVE the dinner party. HILARIOUS piece of television, that. (if your family isn't involved in it, that is).

I was lucky aitch i wasnt involved!! I had only had ds a few weeks before so i was glad they didnt bang on my door. I remember my mum being very cross with her dog. Said dog used to bark and growl loudly at anyone who came to the door. When the DM reporter turned up she rolled over and wagged her tail!Hmm Mum was not amused!!!Grin
