I say was... happy to be proved wrong, but I suspect he's the only one we'll remember in five years time. They're all a bit bland this year.

Not quite sure how much more X-Factor cold offer him anyway: he's already got a huge enough following. Personally i'd LOVE to see him in Panto. How fun would that be?

Agree PPF - he looked much more comfortable doing the timewarp than trying to sing seriously. Not good as a recording artist (which at the end of the day the X Factor winner is intended to be) but could see him in the Rocky Horror show !!

I think we are all missing the point here - surely the question is HOW did Kate Thornton manage to become an ITV presenter of choice? And where is her neck?

I don't have anything against Kate Thornton (although she could do with learning to say the right thing )... I do keep expecting her to introduce Sleeping Beauty and the Fairy Godmother though - I think I've seen Shrek 2 a few too many times
