Why are the couples in their twenties becoming more orthodox?

I don't know. I will ask my friend. I have noticed that with my clients too.

I watched it yesterday on catch up and enjoyed it, dp's mum is Jewish but married a non Jew and brought her childen up with no faith so it was interesting to see what he was missing so to speak. His cousins were brought up Jewish and married Jewish woman and dp had described some of the ceremonies but it was nice to see what some were like.

What is it you do Pippi?

Ive noticed myself. Dramatically. From all classes/professions. Theres a real sense of going back to basics. Its really noticeable around where I live. Certainly alot more Jewish religious schools are opening.

Lots of reviews in the papers are saying it should be a series. I hope it is.

I too am Jewish and live in Manchester. It was an entertaining look at certain people in the community. If there is to be a series, I hope that it will show that there are equally colourful characters who have much more modest lifestyles!

I am Jewish (convert) but not that observant. I found it interesting. I liked Bernette.
