OK - will Karen get together with Rob now he's dumped the dreadful Naomi? - probably yes, - she was staring wistfully at his photo the other week (unless she was thinking 'what have I seen him in?').

I think she'd be mad to get involved with him - since he's treated her as second choice. Anyway I love Amanda Burton and think she could do much better than Robson Green

Also what has the vile Miss Chaudri been in?

And will Aiden get his comeuppance? - He is an awful boy, and seems to got off very lightly with his impregnating antics.

I have issues with this series that are making me twitch.

1. At the end of the last series, Finn was potentially paralysed. Come this series he just swans in as though nothing has happened.

1. What the flip happened with the wedding and police?

1. Sam's other brothers weren't even mentioned (obviously the actors weren't around, and it was probably easier to just not mention it)

It's picked up again almost back to its old standards over the last 2 weeks, I think. The second "term" of series 5 was rubbish as well IMO. I don't think Karen will get together with Rob now. He was a bit of an arse being all "Oh well things didn't work out with my wife, so I can come straight back to you now!" Err dream on! But perhaps they will move on from that later in the series, they did seem to have good chemistry, he was an idiot for actually believing his wife but I don't think he's that bad really. However, if Karen forgives him with barely any apology/explanation I'll be annoyed.

I agree that I think Jess probably won't keep her baby, but Vicki will. I wonder if she will carry on with her education though, they have seemed keen to promote the whole idea of life, education, work etc generally going on even when characters do have babies - didn't Chlo still go to uni with hers?

I think Karen was unnecessarily harsh on Jess compared with how caring she was with Vicki. I suppose you would have a different reaction to your own child, but you could see Jess looked really upset and like the one person she thought she could/should tell had let her down.

I don't like Aiden much either, but I thought the scene at the end with his Dad was really well done and quite touching.

The thing with Karen getting sacked reminds me of the Jack storyline.

I remember the first series with the love triangle, how long ago was that? I'm sure I was still at school at the time.

I've only really got into it the last few weeks after watching a few here and there.

At the end of the last series Karen mentioned that Bex would be going off to uni so I guess thats where she is, although after missing so much school I am a bit about that!!!

I think the older ones just went off to uni etc. So Bex has (after only GCSEs??) and the older Kelly brother too, I think. He was quite clever I think. The other brother is in prison after bringing a gun to school in about series 3 or something?

That's what I don't like about soaps. If your only sister was dying and you were at uni you'd come home, wouldn't you? Obviously they wouldn't have let Earl out of prison but you'd expect Marley to be back.

They have an awful lot of pregnancies at WR. Janeece kept her baby but it hasn't been mentioned again since the big storyline of giving her to Ruby then taking her back.

I'd forgotten about Finn's accident.
