David Essex in Eastenders

So. Ladies of a certain age - what do we think? I don't normally watch Eastenders but I'm afraid I had to last night! I do think he's aged quite well (better than my other crush David Cassidy) but I can't help thinking of that lovely young man on TOTP singing Rock On!!!

Sigh.

He has grown old very gracefully he's always been a looker.

I would given the chance

Oh crap, I hate Eastenders and now I am going to HAVE to watch it!

I went out with a DE lookalike in my 20's, he was soooo gorgeous but had to end it when realised he was a complete drunk. Boo hoo.

Cheeky, he wasn't a teacher was he? My old maths teacher was the spit of him!

God no, a mechanic. The drink ruined his look, even had those sparkly eyes and lovely dark curls...........

I'm sorry, but sadly he just looked OLD and, even more sadly - that made me feel OLD!!!

i've also just been watching old youtube videos of him though at 42 i came to him late

well DH just had to point him out to me in EE - he doesnt watch it btw! he said listen to this - who is it

but listening to him - i did!
i didnt recognise him at all! i was a bit

he's still nice, i'm watching ee and never watch it usually

there will just always be something about him

he should be more appreciated for his acting stardust was brilliant

god i must get a grip!!

I saw him acting in "Footloose" or whatever in the west end. I was surprised he was bald.

It's a shame he won't sing. I think there should be an EE Christmas special where they all dance and sing.
