marne · 12/11/2005 17:59

I love it to, i think it should be on more often, think i might have to buy the books.

tassis · 12/11/2005 18:01

gosh, I hate it!

does my head in

(must be me - I'm the only one to like boogie babies...)

marne · 12/11/2005 18:03

Boogie bebies is great to, dd loves it and knows all the moves.

tassis · 12/11/2005 18:23

Phew, someone agrees with me about BBs. I love watching ds dance to the moves - very cute! There was a thread on here earlier and everyone else loathes it...

If charlie and lola has anything to do with the kids' books with the same kids in them .. I have to say I dislike them intensely as they seem to set up negatives that don't previously exist

the only one I know is the 'I am absolutely too small to go to school' .. Gah

Ds has all the charlie and lola books and was so excited when it started. I love it because it makes a change from bloody sponge bob

Clayhead · 12/11/2005 19:41

Love the books and the TV series. My kids are enchanted by it.

But then they also like Boogie Beebies...

zippy539 · 12/11/2005 19:42

There's a lovely Charlie and Lola 'dressing up' 'game' on the cebeebies (sp?) site - it's great for little ones who can manage a mouse but can't get their head around proper 'games' - you dress up Charlie and Lola by dragging and dropping outfits onto them. Ds (4) and DD (2) love it.

Charlie and Lola was written by and I think the voice of Charlie Brooks (Janine in Eastenders) and Lola is the name of her daughter in real life.
I think I read it on the bbc website.

Twiglett · 12/11/2005 21:23

dior - charlie brooks definately has a big involvement in it.

Carlk · 13/11/2005 07:07

dd, 4, loves it. She has started to copy Lola - i.e. ''I am NOT tired and I'm staying up till Midnight''. and other un-cooperative, contrary behaviour. Lola is her new role model. Unfortunately we don't have a Charlie - (the least likely, best behaved, most helpful, most concilatory sibling ever to exist in fiction or reality) to help keep dd in line.
Might have to ban it.

tegan · 13/11/2005 20:20

Sorry dior my confusion is due to lack of sleep

crazydazy · 13/11/2005 20:24

My two like it but DD says she wishes Charlie was the youngest like her brother!!! She's not happy that the boy's in charge!!!

They still prefer Peppa Pig as they can compare themselves more to that. Mind you DP isn't keen on his comparison Daddy Pig
