Well knock me down with a marmite solider.

That was impressive!!!

DriverDan · 07/05/2011 20:42

I am actually impressed with the toast portrait!

DriverDan · 07/05/2011 20:43

lol at MacIntyre taking the marmite toast Grin

Hassled · 07/05/2011 20:43

I'm watching! I loved Marmite guy.

Hassled · 07/05/2011 20:43

Really sweet kids

PersonalClown · 07/05/2011 20:43

That is a much better song choice.

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:44

Urgh, wasn't that a shameless repeat of Simon C stopping someone and making them choose another song??

Mind you they were quite dodge.

I WANT SOME MARMITE TOAST!

5inthebed · 07/05/2011 20:44

Both DH and I were confused by the butch bloke singing highy pitched.

These boys are a total set up, the old "do you have a song" trick.

OK my Amanda must be so so talented to know they'd be better with another song - I got her all wrong (and she apparently eats toast all day long too - another shocker!)

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:46

Mmmmmmm once again MM was right

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:46

Grin Muggle !

PersonalClown · 07/05/2011 20:47

Yeah Amanda seems to have taken on Simon's role of being in charge.
I am liking MacIntyre's sensible nature. He's not being rude but very diplomatic and realistic.

DriverDan · 07/05/2011 20:51

Blegh, hate the 'have you got another song' routine, very contrived.

A friend of mine was on bgt a couple of years ago, got onto the live shows. The lead singer (of their band) was basically scripted for all VTs. They had her doing the 'this is my last shot and I will give up showbizzz if this doesn't work out' -all the producers, as I imagine most of some of these audition set ups are!

PureBloodMuggle · 07/05/2011 20:52

MM is very good - as you said he's diplomatice and not rude and doesn't vote for people just because they wiggle, have big tits and don't wear much

The other two judges aren't great at all - think there's only room for one daft judge

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:52

ooooo really DD? i had wondered. That explains why everyone trots out the same old platitudes time after time on every talent show. Not that I watch them all hem hem

PureBloodMuggle · 07/05/2011 20:54

(btw 'diplomatice' is who you spell diplomatic in a french accent, it is honestly, though please don't ask why I wrote it in a french accent.

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:55

Hm bon soir 'ansome

PureBloodMuggle · 07/05/2011 20:56

Amanda: Why do people shave half their eyebrow off?
Micheal: I don't know. Why do you inject poison into your face?

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:56

Because you're magic and were predicting the French dancer of course.Do Keep up! Grin

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 20:57
PureBloodMuggle · 07/05/2011 20:59

Was she shouting "bonne chance" as she clapped?

If she was I am glad someone told her it's tres bien

PureBloodMuggle · 07/05/2011 21:00

Who where you refering to there BlooferLady being magic? I feel like I missed something!!!

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 21:01

Was she?!?! Nice lady and all that but...

Well that's that. Off to read an improving book by way of compensation - you know, like the way eating a stick of celery cancels out a bar of Green and Black's, yeah? Yeah.

BlooferLady · 07/05/2011 21:06

You, for having written in French before the French dude came on...er, that seemed like a corking wisecrack at the time

Threaders · 07/05/2011 21:21

As good as he was, why was a fresh man who lives in France appearing on "Britains Got Talent"?
