Do you still watch Boardwalk Empire?

Ive just realised Ive got two together to watch. Im not as keen on it as I used to be. Are you still excited by it?

Yes Richard is crazy good, really intriguing character and played so well and so softly by him, then POW he shoots people in the face. I love the juxtaposition of his character. Admit I got a bit teary at the dream sequence when he was 'normal' and with his wife.

Oh PRAISE GOD. It is on again. Thought it was fab. Dh and I loving it more than before.
17 emmys' it was nominated ofr. Stev B as Nucky is fab. And I am fascinated by Investigator, who whips himself. And bought his christian wife , to visit for their 13th anniversary.
So glad its back on.

In the long break I read the book it was based on. It's more a history of the location rather than a character driven narrative which makes it a good companion rather than a poor 'book of the film'.

Watched the first one of the new series yesterday, have to wait for DH to get back to catch up on rest.
