Rastamouse - strange question

Is there a character called Ira-man or something? DS calls the programme 'Ira-man', and I have no idea where he has got this from (he hardly speaks English anyway) but it does look Rastamousey with the 'man' bit...

I did have a suspicion that there was something going on...
It's totally fabulous that my DS is doing Rasta slang!! Do they say it in Rastamouse? A lot, presumably? (I've never paid attention to Rastamouse - maybe I should!)

They do say it a lot - DD picked up a rastamouse book in the library the other day, and it's an absolute pain to read - I'm leaving it to DP who loves putting on accents (the gruffalo is australian in this household)
