Two weird things in todays episode -
Suddenly Kate's bloke Mark is best pals with Lucas and Toadie
And Susan, Donna's dad, Zeke and Kate were all having lunch together - um, why?!

And what was going on with Kate's dress today? She looked like she had no boobs whatsoever. Heck I'm only a 34A but she makes me look like Jordan!

Kate's dress was horrendous. And seeing a teenager snogging a 30 year old guy in front of her guardian/flatmates/younger sister disturbs me greatly.

How come Donna's dad is back? I thought he was on the run from the law.

PMSL at Donna "going to New York". Didn't one of the Scully girls end up "going to New York." And Elle? "Going to New York" is obviously a euphemism for "leaving slightly tired Aussie soap to try and make it as pop star/model/whatever somewhere else."

Eatmyfood, Donna's dad who brought her up is on the run (altho I cant quite remember why), BUT she found out he wasn't her real father. So the one who's in it is her natural father

I didn't get Neighbours today- were those clothes Donna-s designs, or were they designs the residents put together to show how awful fashion would be without Donna? If the former, what on earth are they thinking? Are they blind??

I haven't watched Neighbours since DS stopped napping for years, but this thread is making me feel warm and fuzzy.

As soon as DS is in school and if I get a wee break before heading back to work, I am definitely going to reintroduce Neighbours into my life.

Omicron, I started watching it again when I was on maternity leave with ds1 - he's nearly 6 and I haven't stopped watching :) I love it!
Noeyedeer, they were Donna's designs!! None of which should be worn near a naked flame. Just as well they weren't stored in Lyn's house - the fire would still be burning today

What I love is how you can have a 2, 5, 10 year break from it, come back and within a week be an avid viewer again. Of course it helps that some old faces never seem to go away...

I feel a bit sorry for the ones that are still there- you know that they thought they were going to be the next Guy Pierce, but it hasn't worked out and they're back...

God I hope Andrew doesn't fall for the fake pregnancy and kicks Tash to the kerb!

My God, Donna's clothes!!!! When I saw Kate emerge with that ridiculous hair wearing that dress I thought it was something out of Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.
Do you think they deliberately designed the ugliest clothes they could come up as a joke?

I have only missed an episode so cant join in with the 'not watching it since......' thing. Wink
But please can someone explain to me what is going on with Rebecca and Paul. Why is she planning romantic nights and lounging around in her sexy undies when she is supposed to hate Paul. I am clearly missing something but not sure what!

It's meant to be some bizarre scheme to get shot of Paul somehow, but being Neighbours, the writers probably haven't thought the plot through well enough, so even they don't know what's going on!

Bubbles, Toadie spoke to Rebecca about a client "for advice" yesterday. Some bizarre discussion about a woman in an abusive relationship. I lost track of the ins and outs cos it was so tenuous and complicated, but Rebecca had a lightbulb moment.
I think she'll say to Paul that she's unable to move forward with their relationship while the police are still investigating, and would like him to tell the police that it was an accident

I saw that, and couldn't work out how she got from that situation to hers! It was something about getting someone to sign a contract to say they wouldn't make a complaint against them- Didn't know you could do that for domestic violence or attempted murder- seems like a licence for intimidation to me!

Rebecca sleeping with Paul to get him to do what she wants was a total Moulin Rouge moment. They were definitely paying homage to it.

I can't believe Donna's gone. I love her a little bit.

Is Jade stupid? And why was she sticking up for Sonya? Sonya apparently never looked after Callum! And if Jade had something to do with his upbringing, them as soon as Callum saw her, it would have given her away.
