The autocue failed for Rosamund Pike and Dominic Whatsit. They had no lines, and no indication of who to say was up for the award, so had to extemporise (unsuccessfully). In the fluster RP began to open the envelope.

i didnt notice her but the lifetime achievement guy was rather old, it really was a lifetime. he did comment about how it might be a posthumous award. i was worried for his health.
