its about a highschool girl - who is very very good actress and a murder of her best friend and her dad used to be sherif but then he got sacked for investigating the murder.
the school is in a rich town ad there is a marked difference in the rich and poor kids - veronic used to be the all american - until her friend was murdered and her dad accused the family - so as ronnie comes from the wrong side of the tracks - she changes from airhead to brainbox and investigates other things on the way.
