Yipee, several episodes being shown on G.O.L.D. tonight. I think this is the best programme ever.

Oops sorry..I only watched one and I hated it. But I know it's v popular, so it's probably just me..

Does anybody know if there will be a fourth series?

I have all 3 series on dvd, we are moving house atm and watched the one in the 3rd series about the house viewing and the dead bird last night!

I have enough of precouious kids at home and at work I don't need them on my tv as well.

Apparently there will be a fourth series.

I'm a bit about it, as I think the children are a bit too old/know too much about the process now - the great joy in the early series (especially the first one) was their naivete.

Hugh Dennis is excellent though (imho) whenever he teams up with Steve Punt.

When me and Dh have watched it we have just sat there chunering to each other saying' as if you'd let your kids talk to you like that' or 'for goodness sake why haven't they been told to behave' Then we have to remind ourselves it's not real!!

The first series, shown late at night on a Wednesday IIRC, was superb.

Then they all got taken in by their own hype.

The only one still with a sense of that original impact, I reckon, is Karen.

strangely i hated it at first and now find it hilarious - maybe it's too near the truth for some people

Love it, glad the kids aren't mine though!

For a family situation comdey I really like 'The Middle' Now that I can relate to and find funny!

Yes next series is showing in March :)

Brilliant, a new series. I would love to adopt Karen she is so cute. I think it's incredibly realistic and love the way they can build a whole programme around something really ordinary.

Catissleepy Watch 'The Middle' instead.

That is good and the kids are more realistic. Older teenage boy who sees his siblings as a pain, middle teenage daughter with load of insecurites and young son who often uses his iniative to disastourous consequences!

I loved the first series as Karen reminded me of DD2. By the second series I didn't like it as much as DD2 reminds me of Karen...

I'm not sure it's a compliment that when querying something with Next customer services, the lady on the phone said, "your house sounds like the one on the telly with Hugh Dennis"). Phone is in the hallway and in the time I'd been on hold DD3 was playing aeroplanes, DD2 was having a loud discussion on the doorstep with a friend and DD1 was stomping up and down the stairs asking who'd been in her room as she couldn't find her Nintendo (was about to type DS but though it might be a bit odd that she couldn't find her "Dear Son"!)

I think it is on around about 6 and it is on Sky 1.
I'm not sure of the exaact time because it DS has put it on series record.
