Had a shock last night watching recent episode of Scooby doo with DD1. In the first scene, Scooby hears a noise, goes to investigate, and finds Shaggy and Velma, well, snogging Shock.I hastily turned over in case Shaggy progressed to living up to his name- too much explaining to do to DD1. Anyone think this is a development too far? Should they stick to chasing rather unconvincing ghosts rather than each other? Does the News of the World know about this?
Think we'll stick to Peppa pig from now on - hopefully no piggy porking on the agenda Grin

That's the newest series (am somewhat of an expert) called Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated, or something liket hat. I actually think it definitely aims at an older audience. Yes, Velma and Shaggy are a couple and there is a bit of smooching (tho that's all). However it's also a bit more scary. Generally a bit older.

My 2 dds love Scooby Doo but I try to avoid the new series and let them watch older ones instead.

Velma and Shaggy? What? Velma can SO do better than that.

Velma and Shaggy must be verging on pension age by now - good for them if they are having a bit of animated nooky.

GrinI had a conversation about this this afternoon!

DD loves it and in the newer version Velma was wittering to Daphers about whether or not her relationship with Shaggy was worth itShock. Couldn't believe it...Shaggy has always looked a bit grimey to me.
