Quick question; What has happened to Robert Timmins in Larkrise?

Missed the first episode last week and no mention of him this week.

I know Brendan Coyle has probably left as he's now in Downton Abbey but wondered what they have said/done with the character in LR.

Can anyone fill me in? Thanks!

He is 'working away' and sending money home.

No more has been mentioned of whether he is stone-masoning or being a manservant

He is sadly missed but the part of belligerent, moody, proud bastard is currently being filled by the Blacksmith....
