Poor woman. She looks exhausted.

MrsChemist · 10/01/2011 21:47

I was robbed on an epidural as well, Hassled. They told me the baby would be arriving in half an hour or less.
4 hours later, baby arrives.

She's got her rosy cheeks on - getting going now.

God that Ralph is such a ponce.

What's that midwife on about - you won't be having another baby soon....??

MoldyWarp · 10/01/2011 21:48

Janet lovely peachy skin!

HermyaLovesLysander · 10/01/2011 21:48

Go Janet, I love Ralph, he's so funny.

MsInterpret · 10/01/2011 21:48

Yes, fair enough but I'm not judging...not really!

Confused
Cheeser · 10/01/2011 21:48

ahhh a baby Smile

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 10/01/2011 21:48

I'd love to train as a midwife, but TBH Steph is putting me off. Christ on a bike, I'd end up stuffing a sock in her gob!!! Grin

PotPourri · 10/01/2011 21:49

Is thst the first set of ads? I didn't notice any before.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 10/01/2011 21:49

Poor Janet, she is knackered before she's even started.

maxpower - that is interesting, thank you :)

girlylala0807 · 10/01/2011 21:49

Even after seeing how much pain that woman was in, I still feel so sad I never got to do it myself :( Ds was breech and all theey could do was a CS. I never got that ,oment when he came out. :(

PuraVida · 10/01/2011 21:49

Oh poor Janet. She looks exhausted already

MoldyWarp · 10/01/2011 21:50

imarriedafrog

If you do go the same way i did with my 5th - the experience was a delight. I loved it - i loved my midwife - she loved me - he came very quickly she was very surprised.

DREAMY!

Cheeser · 10/01/2011 21:50

Well, it hasn't put me off Grin and I take back my harsh words about Steph, I've not done it yet so shouldn't really judge

CommanderDrool · 10/01/2011 21:50

I reckon Janet will be epidural then C-section

maxpower · 10/01/2011 21:50

sounds like a very sensible plan imarriedafrog Grin

MoonUnitAlpha · 10/01/2011 21:50

I didn't scream in labour but I did sob a lot. It went on for days and I was bloody exhausted by the end though.

HermyaLovesLysander · 10/01/2011 21:51

Saggy I think after a while you would get immune to it and develop a bit of an odd work sense of humour.

wrigglerstea · 10/01/2011 21:51

I actually take back what I said about Janet earlier - I think she will cope with the pain really well. But I do suspect she isn't going to dilate much and will end up with a section.

amandine07 · 10/01/2011 21:51

Janet seems so lovely, she is only 18...god I could never have gone through all that at her age...I have a feeling she will need intervention & maybe a C-section.

Such a contrast to Steph but it just goes to show that every birth is different, there are no medals for doing it drug-free, it really makes no difference as long as the baby arrives ok.

Whitethorn · 10/01/2011 21:52

God that Co Op ad is horrific - whats the point of it?

KangarooCaught · 10/01/2011 21:52

MW denied me any pain relief (bar gas n air which they took away after 30 mins as it made my pushing ineffective - 4 hours of pushing later....)

2nd time round to stop me having a c section they offered me a guaranteed epidural. When I asked what would happen if someone else wanted one at the same time I was told they'd be "counselled away from one" Hmm

CommanderDrool · 10/01/2011 21:52

God that bloody nauseating co op ad

Hassled · 10/01/2011 21:52

MoonUnit - I did the sobbing thing too. Real tears, and then of course the snot - nose blowing featured heavily in my labours :o.

expatinscotland · 10/01/2011 21:53

Yep, she'll be CS. She looks exhausted.
