I thought it was excellent and really thought provoking. Did anyone else see it. Good practice for German and Italian speakers to!

I really enjoyed it - thought it was a fascinating story (and the U-Boat captain was gorgeous)

It was fantastic, but did you also see the documentary this evening about the real story? Incredibly sad and moving. The drama seemed from the facts in the documentary to have been very accurate. Those poor Italians in the hold who had no chance of survival. The U-boat involved was sunk a few months later with no survivors.

It has answered a 70 year old family mystery for us. Very heartbreaking.

Really enjoyed it - loved languages (good practice for teenage daughter learning German. Plus gorgeaue Uboad captain and British officer).
