i liked the show with patrick moore where the moon was always obscured by clouds once the camera got it

Ds1 and 2 were allowed to stay up to watch this, and rushed out at 9 pm with bated breath to see ..... oh, lots of cloud. This is great but it will never top The Sky At Night - fond memories of being allowed to watch shaky video versions of this as a kid (I was never allowed to stay up to watch it).

Dh is due to meet Brian Cox this year.I have volunteered to accompany him because I'm suddenly quite interested in astronomy don't you know?

However,I cannot hear or say 'Uranus' without tittering,which will ruin my feminine mystique somewhat.

dh tells me that Brian is very busy atm,fimimg a 2nd series.

Im 'officially' a geek now I lust --over- am a fan of Brian.
Love his way of explaining stuff and hes just soooooo mesmorising,
