I have a few ideas of my own - but do you have any favourites?

There are some that you know ARE going to happen.

As for the not-quite-sure, I'd say Alicia and Will in The Good Wife (one of my fave shows) and Olivia and Peter in Fringe (specially considering the last episode!)

I like Booth and Brennan's relationship in Bones. Although not as gripping, they're quite sweet together. It does feel like they've gone into friends territory for good though. The sexual tension between the 2 of them seems to have vanished.

Forgot to say- on a shallow level I'm waiting for an Eric and Sookie thing to happen in True Blood so we can see naked Eric again.

Moonlighting
Just Good Friends
Cracker

I also love the Alicis/Will tension in The Good Wife, though I think it's less of a will they? and more of a WHEN will they? Her marriage is one of convenience these days, she doesn't love him any more. They do the slow burn very well, with them mainly keeping away from each other.

I think the Bones writers stretched out the tension for too long and have missed their opportunity. They knew it would be hard to keep things interesting once they finally got together (though it can be done, you just need some decent writers) and have tried too hard to keep everyone on the edge. I stopped watching at the end of last season, it was too far removed from when the show started.

The Sydney/Vaughn WTWT? in Alias was quite enjoyable.

Fringe is my favourite show of the moment.

I loved Fox Mulder/Dana Scully in the X Files. Just a simple brush of their hands would be electric. Pity that wrecked it by putting them together in the film version.

Iwasthefourthwiseman · 17/12/2010 14:34

Omg I loved mulder/scully thing. It was so intense without anything even happening

KayHarker · 17/12/2010 14:54

Mulder and Scully is one of my favourites. Alex and Gene from Ashes to Ashes is another. And Father Peter/Assumpta Fitzgerald in Ballykissangel is a thing of ansgt-ridden beauty.

Manny and Kelly on Handy Manny.

anonacfr · 17/12/2010 16:23

How can I forget Mulder and Scully?

There's also Miles and Anna in This Life... Grin
How could he marry Francesca????

BooBooGlass · 17/12/2010 16:25

Daphne and Niles on Frasier was surely the best ever

anonacfr · 17/12/2010 16:27

Yeeeeeees! I guess I was thinking of current shows.

BooBooGlass · 17/12/2010 16:28

Well in that case, Alan Sugar and Stuart Baggs Grin

How could you lie to me, Stuart?

MsFC · 17/12/2010 16:34

Oh, Olivia & Peter, definitely. Even though I keep calling him Pacey. He is just lovely.

anonacfr · 17/12/2010 16:36

Pacey and Joey were quite cute too.... Grin

Damn I obviously watch far too much TV.

StoodAProleyCattleShed · 17/12/2010 16:40

Another vote for Moonlighting :)

hmmSleep · 17/12/2010 16:50

Kate and Sawyer or Jack in Lost.

hmmSleep · 17/12/2010 16:56

Oh, and Tim and Dawn in 'The Office'!

anonacfr · 17/12/2010 17:15

Sawyer, not Jack!

Tim and Dawn were sweet. So were Jim and Pam in the American Office.

hmmSleep · 17/12/2010 17:41

Yes, I agree with Sawyer over Jack. (Off into my own little dream world now.)

HalleLouja · 17/12/2010 18:35

Rachel and Ross in Friends. Ok we know they did and then didn't but it was good.

wintera · 17/12/2010 21:24

Mine would be :

Sam and Diane in Cheers
Maddie and David in Moonlighting
Mulder and Skully
Tim and Dawn
Pacey and Joey
Buffy and Spike
Daphne and Niles (But didn't actually like them as a couple though!)
Ross and Rachel (Same as above, hated them together!)
Eric and Sookie
Kate and Sawyer (Definitely not Jack!)

And just to be controversial . . . Mr Burns and Smithers in The Simpsons!!

Northumberlandlass · 17/12/2010 21:27

Ah, Moonlighting. I loved it.

Brennan & Booth in Bones still does it for me and I live in eternal hope that they will get it together.

Northumberlandlass · 17/12/2010 21:29

Oh, and thought of another. Stargate: Jack & Sam Carter. x

anonacfr · 18/12/2010 10:46

Wintera I like the way you think.
I did think Daphne and Niles were a sweet couple, but only in the last series.

The only ones I don't care about are Rachel and Ross. I never liked Friends much and Ross was too annoying for words.
