I have just seen the round up and am sitting here going "SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!" in excitement!

Is anyone else as thrilled to see this is on as I am?!

hmm. it's on over the next few nights i think. i didn't really enjoy it. i know i loved the book about 20 years ago, but i can't remember it being like that.

I will iplayer it - wasn't Dirk Gently supposed to be older than that, and fatter, and balder?

I think it was a one off pilot. I enjoyed it too but I read it (several times) years ago.

I thought there was supposed to be a wedged sofa in the hallway... or is that the next book?

I heard the director talking on the radio and he said they hardly used anything from the book as they didn't have the budget. I missed it so I will have to check it out on iPlayer as well.
