Gary is married to Tamzin Outhwaite. She is one lucky lady!

I just love this show. It's funnier than almost anything else on telly, and it's - shock! - clean and non-offensive. There was a good interview with Miranda Hart in the Guardian the other day.

Lizzylou · 17/11/2010 13:32

I love this too, I just guffaw the whole way through.

I love Gary but unfortunately can see far too much of Miranda in myself Blush

I think the petite blonde actress and Patrica Hodge are fab, they all are.

southeastastra · 18/11/2010 08:29

i like it too - was she related to someone on that hostage on holiday programme anyone know?

LivinInThe80s · 18/11/2010 10:31

I love Miranda, she makes me cry with laughter. DH sits there looking completely bemused and doesn't get it at all!

Clayhead · 18/11/2010 10:45

Same here, I was nearly in tears at the trailer for next week's and dh is nonplussed!

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 18/11/2010 10:52

Bear with ... bear with ... bear with ...

All food shall now been known as Scoffington in this house.

JaniceSoprano · 18/11/2010 10:53

she is SO SO bad and so unfunny

CeliaFate · 18/11/2010 16:01

I had tears pouring down my cheeks, I loved it! She reminds me of Victoria Wood - clean humour that's self-deprecating and silly but not cruel. Can't wait for next week.

StripeyMoon · 18/11/2010 16:57

Clayhead, DH and I both burst out laughing at the ground opening up bit too

TheFoosa · 18/11/2010 20:59

yes Janice, I've seen trailers and thought the same

but I watched it and tittered at least twice, which is a fairly decent average for most sitcoms these days

HoorahHilda · 23/11/2010 10:45

NOT canned laughter
Filmed in front of studio audience.

Interesting , yes.

tillywee · 23/11/2010 13:47

Me too...but I actually really like it, dh is getting me series 1 for xmas

sphil · 23/11/2010 22:22

Disappointed with this week's episode - nothing like as funny as last week's imo. Dragged DH in to watch it and he was Hmm

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 24/11/2010 00:41

I loved it. That couple with the imaginary intercom to the baby, and the reading aloud of Mein Kampf to the kids "master race, lovely", and the vicar punching were all highlights.

ThistleWhistle · 24/11/2010 00:54

Love it. Queen Kong. Such fun.

turnitup · 24/11/2010 12:57

I also found ep1 histerically funny.

This weeks line for me was 'a savory muffin, who are you' lol

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 24/11/2010 13:05

and the Lady Ga-GAH Poker Face inspired laugh.

Highlander · 24/11/2010 14:11

I thought it would be shit. Watched it the other night for the first time with my BF, and we were both PMSL for the whole show Grin
