korma I think if someone needs a lung transplant they often do a combined heart/lung transplant as the two systems are so closely linked.

If the person receiving the heart and lungs has a healthy heart themselves they will transplant their healthy heart into another donor.

So that woman could donate her heart to that man when she received her heart and lungs.
