I hope she is able to stay that way.

Plase dont make her a glamour model.

Just watched it - lovely girl in trying circumstances!

I watched this on iPlayer last night and thought how wonderful and insightful she was, but not in a patronising, snobby way - she was a delightful girl. I hope she can cling on to her ambitions and follow them through. She seems remarkably well-adjusted with a good, strong self-image.

Just watched this on I-player. It was frustrating half way through to see how much Alicia's issues impact her but by the end she had totally turned around. She has obviously done something very right to have such a grounded, sweet special young woman as her daughter and she should be very proud of her. For all Alicia's mistakes she has a very clear acheivement in her daughter and it was nice to see her show some real pride in her - its a shame she cant feel the same pride in herself really. She seems like quite a sweet woman who really doesnt like herself at all.

I am just watching this now and finding it really sad. Her daughter seems so lovely and grounded, but Alicia is just sad, like a little girl lost really.

Daughter is seeming like the mum in the relationship really.
