Can't get my head round the identical twins of different ages! Apart from straight/curly hair, they were very alike, weren't they?

I have ID twin boys, just weird to imagine 3 years between them!

Totally agree with all your s EG!

Fair play to the surrogate mum, I don't think I could ever do that (not even for 30 grand per baby!). Giving up babies that you've felt move & kick, heard their little hearbeats....Too hard for me.

Excuse me, I think you'll find I did a early on...

Don't get me wrong, I am very for their lovely family, but at the American city names.

Lovely kids (I loved the bit where the kids were saying that if the baby had Downs they would still love it) and I got the feeling the dads were quite accepting of their dd's personality despite her having not turned out the way they expected. They seemed like very good parents.

BUT it really creeped me out the way two rich men could basically buy women's bodies to get what they wanted - given that were are in a society where wealth is very unequally distributed between men and women.

Ive just watched this and i agree with what was said further up the thread about Barrie not seeming to like women much. I was also really really at his reaction over one of the babies possibly having Downs Syndrome. He said that it was too late to go down the reduction route but that adoption or fostering was an option, his daughter said she would be sad but would protect her sibling but i thought it was a bit rich considering they are a gay couple with 5 kids and that some people may perceive them as not quite the norm - i would have thought that he would be ultra protective if one of those babies wasnt quite the perfect designer baby that they ordered.

FWIW i think same sex couples make fab parents and would like to see more acceptance of this scenario but Daddy irritated me with him simplistic viewpoint and total disregard for womens roles in that making of his and his husbands babies.

i really wanted to like dad and daddy

sadly they came across as selfish twonks. and what sort of prat dresses up like that for the school pantomime?
