teen advice needed

help need some advice , we moved back in March and for good while ds2 who is 13 struggled with new school friends etc as we had previously lived in same town all his life

Last few months or so e has seemed to settle and start making friends

But what need help with is ds3 and dd are out for day tomorrow at Saturday club all day of to legoland, Ds1 is busy so was planning on suprising ds 2 with trip to tower of london which he has been after going for long time but not been able to becuase of other dc .

Ds2 has just come in and asked if can meet up with new friends tomorrow , when mentioned the trip he was like argh if you said this morning would have gone like a shot , but instead he wants meet up with new friends

So do I put my foot down and say no were of out , knowing once on way that he will love it and forget to sulk or do I let him go meet his friends

let him build his social life.

If it is not too inconvenient to cancel your trip I would let him go ahaead and meet his friends.

problem solved ds2 has been looking at tower of London website and really wants to go said he realised it would be Setember now before he would be able to go other wise and that he has all summer to do other stuff ,.Did not tell him that had allready brought tickets did not want him to feel pressured ,

but has just asked can he call friends and rearrange to meet them tomorrow becuase he has run out of phone credit mind lol he did check that the trip would not be coming out of his pocket money , mind might make him buy me a ice cream

Know ds is starting to make his own life but kinda glad he does still wnat to hang out with his mum now and then to
