DD 13 year old - birthday present ideas needed please

DD is 13 years old in a few days time ,and i have no idea what to get her, more to the point she does't either!
Shes a nice kid but doesnt have any hobbies, outside of scouts, which she tolerates more as a social club. Im not looking for THE perfect present,but I cant waste money either.
Can anyone give me some killer ideas, I want to spend up to £50 ?

May be get something small to wrap up - eg a Dvd, then take her for lunch and shopping so she can choose something.

Thank you pbm,bof,cygb and ll for your good ideas. She was thinking about hair curlers,then digital camera,then not sure really.
She wants a sleepover with her friends (still into those) and then see alice in wonderland. Ill ask them to come wearing one character item ,to give it a theme.
Ive decided to give her one main present and 12 cheap ones (poundshop stuff individually wrapped).Still unsure to go for the camera.or upgrade the contract on her phone.
