Asda trolleys 1992

Anybody remember going to Asda in 1992?

I have a memory of taking our eldest DD there as a baby. I think they didn't have moulded baby seats as they do now, but wire seats on trolleys for older children and a padded shelf on the side of a few trolleys for a young baby.

My dh thinks I've made this up.

Please let me know if you have a memory either way!

eldest was born in 1991 and there wasn't baby seats in trolleys back then in fact I think they where quite a new thing when youngest was born in 1995.

there was a kind of carry cot on the bottom of the trolleys at the side - I remember being horrified that anyone would put a newborn in there!

DS1 born in 96 and there were plastic baby seats in trolleys then.
Plus two years later when DS2 arrived there were baby/toddler side by side just so the toddler could bash the baby, as they do.

If only they'd had internet home shopping in those days.......
