Can anyone help with advice on how best to help my DC? Posted this in other topic but no replies so wondering if anyone here has any thoughts.

Hmmm, this is a difficult one. I'm really just keeping your thread in active convos, I don't have any pearls of wisdom. But it does sound like a psychologist could be helpful, even if it is to help your ds realise why he is angry? I guess you couldn't be there and it might be difficult to get him to show up?

Yep, think seeing someone like this would be a good idea as he needs someone outside of the family to talk with IMO. But there is no way at all he would go. I think I really have to just do what I can to support him in the hope that he either improves or gets to the point where he decides to see someone himself. In the meantime though, if he continues to be very down and to dabble with drugs, the problem is that that is just not ok.
