My daughter is 12 next week and just started Year 7. She has done some sex education in Year 6 but I want to get a book that explains puberty without going into infinite detail which she doesn't need right now. I just want something we can sit down and look at, she can look at on her own and come back with questions, anybody got any ideas Thanks

hair in funny places

and this:

girls only

I used these for my daughter and she has even lent them to her friends!

Agree with the girls only, gave it to my dd's and it produced some really funny conversations and lots of light hearted sniggers.

I got girls only for the dds too. It has a nice, informal, chatty style if that's what you;re looking for.

There's a book called The Care and Keeping of You (maybe on Amazon), which was fine for my 11 yo earlier this year, and another that goes into a lot more detail called The Period Book (actually might be tmi for 12)
