AnyFucker · 31/08/2009 23:46

AnyFucker · 31/08/2009 23:58

oh well, stroppiness = no new clothes

so there, lol

xxxxBAMBOOxxxx · 31/08/2009 23:58

h&m

Mumwhensdinneready · 02/09/2009 17:46

Top Man. Their small men's size would fit a skinny 12 year old.

RTKangaMummy · 02/09/2009 19:00

DS aged 14 has HOLISTER & QUIKSILVER & Primark

Most of his friends have HOLISTER & Abercrombie & Ed Hardy

Milliways · 02/09/2009 20:40

Hello RTKM! Long time no see! Can't believe our DS's are starting GSCE's now!!

Top Shop also do XXXS sizes for the very skinny boy

We do H&M, Next (but have reached end of their kids range, DS is small so fits Next size 12) John Lewis, Quicksilver (Sale only) and BHS Flipback range sometimes.

frogs · 02/09/2009 20:42

RTKM! How's that boy doing? Dd1 is doing great, has just discovered boys in time for the start of her GCSEs. [eye roll] But as friends, I think, rather than boyfriends. I hope.

frogs · 02/09/2009 20:43

Oh, and OP, have you tried Uniqlo?

Hi Frogs - we should have an 11+ class of 2005? reunion!

Is your DD at an all girls school? DS is at all boys but chats to all the girls on the bus in the morning.

frogs · 02/09/2009 20:48

All girls at school. Which is fine as far as it goes, and probably right for her at school (she wants to stay for 6th form) but if she were choosing again from scratch now she's said she'd prefer a mixed school. But it's been a tremendous success, we're v. pleased with the school and she's v. happy.

How about yours?

Ponders · 02/09/2009 20:52

ebay & TKMaxx both useful. Also Next mail order go up to age 16 which is unusual.

Rather depends on the size & shape of your boy

Milliways · 02/09/2009 20:54

DS loves his school, and wouldn't change, so far so good

DD was at a mixed Comp & loved that too, but she is going to an all-girls Cambridge College so was glad she wasn't coming from an all-girls school

However, she didn't really have a boyfriend until 6th form, and the boyfriend she has now was home-ed, so you never know!

frogs · 02/09/2009 20:56

oh, many many congrats to yr dd re the Cambridge place! I didn't know there were any all-girls colleges left, tbh -- there aren't at the other place, I don't think.

Ponders · 02/09/2009 20:57

Next older boys

Milliways · 02/09/2009 21:06

Ponders - Thanks for Link. I haven't used Next on-line but DS like their stuff and I thought we had outgrown it all.

Thanks Frogs - I think Cambridge have only 2 such colleges left!

Soory to OP for the hijack

RTKangaMummy · 02/09/2009 21:25

sorry for hijack

SlartyBartFast · 02/09/2009 22:53

For bright skinnys have a look at Blue Banana (online) My teens's fave emo/goth/awful colour clothes shop!! They do great skinnys and are fab for slim tall children/adults! Boys and girls

Not mega cheap (£25-30) but last well!
