What have I let myself in for?

DD (and loads of other Yr9's at her school) are getting those Virtual babies for a weekend. The boys had them first!! They are the size & weight of a baby - and randomly cry through day & night.

DD will have to wear a wristband so that only she can feed/comfort/whatever it.

I think this is fantastic education - especially as the boys have had them as well.

Anyone had any experience?

I was nearly given one at school... and then I left, got married and had a proper one I think they're a great idea! My friend at school had one and it lived in a backpack with a school jumper rapped round it to muffle the sound though I must admit!
