Facials for 13yr old

Your opinions please. Was taking DD13 for her 1st facial and world war 3 broke out with DH. He claims she is too young? It all got very heated and turned into a very nasty argument just because he didn't agree with it. DD is very mature and I wanted her to have a facial and get into the 'Dermalogica range' and start (properly) to loof after her skin. I am ranting here actually as I am sick and tired of being told I am in thw wrong and don't know anything .

Hmm, personally I feel 13 for a facial for a treat is OK but sounds a bit Paris Hilton if you plan it to be regular skincare. Although I do agree that good skincare and avoidance of teen pizza face humiliation is an excellent thing to instill early.

But it sounds as if the fight was (as usual) nothing to do with DD's skincare and everything to do with the balance of power and argument tactics in your relationship with DH.
