DD is working at a musical theatre school this week. Tonight was cabaret night where they all got to do their own thing. Everything was going great until an Asian child started his Rap and one line went. "My AK47 will send you all to heaven" they didn't know where to look. Is this acceptable or should they have stopped it or what. The school is in a large Asian community, but only half the children are Asian. She thought the kids were lovely and innocent up to that point.

Not acceptable imo, but very hard to stop if they didnt know it was going to happen...hindsight and all that.

That's so sad though isnt it, in amongst all the fun someone has to do that

Definately no offence meant by saying the child was Asian, We come from a city where we dont really have a large ethnic community so she could not tell what country the child was from. The only reason I said it, was because the child was Asian and it was used as a general term.
