Period pants?

My friend highly recommends that I try them (for me and my daughter) but I just began looking online and there are so many 😵‍💫.

Would love a recommendation for a brand that are mostly cotton, and don’t need changing too often….. I mean is the idea that they’d last the whole day? That’s what I’m hoping..

She said they are life changing, so I’m keen to try.

Thanks in advance 💕

Modi Bodi have been excellent for DD.
Wuka are highly recommended as well.
DD usually wears one pair until she gets in from school, one pair until she goes to bed, one pair overnight.

I bought my daughter Modibodi pants, and they've never been a problem, I use the reusable Cheeky Wipes pads because I bought them before I knew the pants existed. The pants are better than the pads as the pads can move, especially during sport. A good thing to look out for is that the padding on the pants go all the way up the back otherwise they can leak when you are asleep on your back. Also the padding should be black otherwise they end up stained and look horrible. Both me and my daughter can last a whole day without needing to change, but I think we are lighter than average (from talking to my friends). If you/your daughter is particularly heavy, or worried about leaking, you can use the pants plus a reusable pad in the morning and then take the pad off half way through the day, then you've essentially got fresh pants on without having to change.

i like the M&S ones, tried Primark too which are good but a bit thick.

I highly recommend Wuka and Modibodi for reliability (never had a leak) and durability I still have some that are 5 years old. Just because they ‘could’ last all day they would start to become damp and smell so a midday change is needed for hygiene and comfort.

This is all so helpful, thank you!! Going to look them all up now.

I love the idea of less going into landfill and as we have four daughters it could be quite an investment 😄. Thank you all for taking the time to reply.

My daughters use modibodi and have never had a problem. For those early heavy days, they will wear the pants but put a sanitary towel on top. They’ll then take the sanitary towel out at break or lunch.

At night they just wear the pants and haven’t had a problem
