Teenage attitude

My 16yr old has so much fucking attitude! Almost every time i talk to him I’m met with eye rolls, short answers and a basic lack of niceties.

he’s just finished his gcses, but he seemed fine though them. He has been off school for a week now. He has his friends, his activities, a prom and a long holiday to look forward to.

Yes he’s festering in his room more than normal, but there’s not much i can do about that whilst I’m at work.

I work with teenagers, who can have attitude too. But they can also be chatty and smiley. My ds’s attitude just seems so relentless and rude!

Just looking for solitary really!… unless I’m on my own with this? 😞

The normal reasoning - he's tired, stressed, needs to decompress etc. I'd just let him get on with it. Mine finished his a'levels on Thursday. Since then he's done almost nothing.
I'll leave mine until Monday morning, and then reintroduce him to the washing machine and the hoover. 😁
