Should I worry that my 15-year-old rarely wants to go out

My DS15 never seems to want to go out - he spends most of his free time in his room. He has plenty of friends at school and talks to them when they are all gaming. They occasionally will go out to play football but it's rare. My friends boy of the same age is always out doing things - I'm starting to worry there's a problem.

If he has plenty of friends, I would not worry.

I have a friend who son was the same at 15 - always in his room gaming, barely saw the light of day! Fast forward 2 years and it's totally different - goes to the gym 5 times a week, part time job, always out with friends. Just hang in there, keep communication open with him, it's often how 15 is!
