I’m writing this for a friend who is struggling with her daughter. She’s 15 and attempted to take her own life only 6 months ago - over a boy. Since then she’s found another boyfriend who’s she’s investing so much into. Parents are obviously protective of her since it happened and tried to lay down some rules - the usual, in by a certain time etc. she’s railed against all this strongly so much that they all fell out. She’s now living with another close family member and has blocked all communication with her parents except for when she needs something like money. Children’s mental health services are involved but because they’re stretched she doesn’t get much support or communication from them. She just wants to find a way forward.
