Delayed puberty in teen?

Just looking for some.guidance or.experience here - my daughter is 14.5 and has no signs of puberty at all - not just talking periods - no breast growth or any sign. She is super healthy, cross country runner but only trains twice a week and not excessively. She is not skinny (I know that can delay periods) is this totally normal? Or should I be worried?

Puberty kicked in for me a few months after this. I'd give her another year before thinking about doing anything. She's still well within the "normal" bracket.

Thanks! Did it then happen all at once? NHS seems to think boob's start growing and 1-2 years later you get a period which made me worried..
My sons puberty seemed to happen incredibly fast - little boy to moustache in months :) and I can't remember mine..

No op not normal sorry! If there are no breast buds by age 13 then that’s officially delayed and you should consult your gp.

Definitely book a GP appointment they’ll probably send her for some bloods to check her hormone levels.

It obviously could be normal for her so don’t panic too much. They can also kick start puberty with hormones but definitely get her checked out

My daughter has just turned 13 and still doesn't have any breast buds or any sign of puberty. She is very slim (28kg) and short too (but in proportion).
Was told by paediatrician (she has type 1 diabetes) that if she doesn't get breastfeeding buds by 13 then it is time for a check up, so guess where we are heading next week.

14.5 is definitely not normal. 100% get her checked

Omg worst autocorrect ever... breast BUDs, not breastfeeding 🤣

Thanks for the advice all - I think I will get her checked by GP as it sounds like there could be an issue and nothing to lose if there isn't I guess...
