I just have to brag about my lovely, thoughtful, beautiful, amazing teen today and want to hear all about your wonderful teens! 😍

It's my birthday today and my 15-year-old daughter (who is just the best kid ever on any day) has gone above and beyond for me! This morning I woke up to...

Birthday decorations hung up and she got me (all from her own birthday/Christmas money savings) the most thoughtful wonderful gifts going completely and utterly over the top! 💝

She booked and paid for an afternoon tea at the Ritz of all places! As if that wasn't enough, she also got me:

  1. a super fluffy oodie and fluffy socks as I absolutely love cozy fluffy lounge wear 🥰;
  2. Yankie candle smellies for our car (which is always a mess and I love Yankie candles 🕯️);
  3. a make up blending brush (because I don't have one);
  4. made and printed a collage of our photos together from when she was a baby/toddler and wrote me the most heartfelt lovely card that made me cry. 😭
  5. She also organised for us to go see Hamilton (as a gift from my parents) 🤩.

I honestly don't have enough words to express how amazing she is and I don't take any credit at all for her being this way (as I'm very chaotic parent who just wings it most of the time) and she's been through some really rough things in her childhood and especially this year (in addition to the stress of her GCSEs). She's such a super resilient and wonderful girl and I'm just totally floored by her today (and most days!) 😍

Please tell me about your fantastic teens!

I've been suffering from bilateral frozen shoulders since January and my 15 year old DS has been my absolute rock ...he's done everything from taking the bins out to putting on ny bra (poor kid) and all without any complaints....I honestly wouldn't have got through the last 9 months without him as I cant even get my coat on/off by myself ! Although I expect a lot of teens would do the same if asked its really lovely that he's done it willingly and without complaint.
