My friend’s son is soon to be coming home after a long hospital stay. He is in his late teens and I was wondering what I could get him as a welcome home present. He will still need some care so will still be house bound for a little while. Thanks xx

Amazon vouchers.

Comics or books if they are into that stuff.

Something related to a hobby of theirs.

Decent food! Lol Actually, maybe a hamper with favourite food in topped with a voucher?

I had a long stay in hospital as a teen and hated the food! Obviously being in hospital is rubbish, but it was the crap food and lack of normality in something so ordinary as what you eat that was the worst thing for me!

Couldn't wait to get home to decent meals made by my mum; veg not overdone; cuppas made the way I liked them; proper hot toast using decent bread and melting butter; cereal that was still crunchy when you ate it, because it didn't have milk added half an hour earlier; the possibility of interesting fruit; or a takeaway!

Aw, sorry to hear that. The cold toast with the butter that doesn’t sink in….remember it well.

It’s just tricky trying to think of something original.

Food hamper is a good idea could add a voucher for deliveroo or similar as well
