So, there is more to it but long story short my 19 year old son has unofficially moved into his girlfriends house and I dont see him for weeks on end and when I text him I can send 3 text messages and maybe he will reply once.
Is this normal for a lad this age??

OH mine is terrible for replying. He gets so wrapped up in university, work, girlfriend, flat. He's lovely when he does make it home though. They both are. Don't fret.

Yes.

unless you know there are other issues then don’t worry.

It’s hard to comment really without more context , was there a big argument? But in general teenagers can be quite uncommunicative

Totally normal. Not sure I’d be too happy about three weeks mind, but I do accept my Son is now an adult, though not at all financially independent, and is able to make his own decisions. Plus my food shopping is a lot cheaper 😂

No big arguments as such but hes become increasingly distant. About 6 months ago he made a big fuss about feeling left out (he has a six year old brother) and asked to spend more time as a family. I tried to facilitate that but since then hes pulled away again. I miss him.
