My DD (14) says things I don't understand ALL the time, like Ohio (???), preppy, rizzler, and also slay. It's quite confusing, but also entertaining. She hates it when I try to copy her slang though, but I've found it good to just have an understanding.

My 15 year old DD keeps saying 'low-key' all the time, about everything. As in "I low-key think xyz", or "he is low-key doing xyz". Why??

'Lo-key' is added into sentences. 'Goofy ah:. Adding 'ah' into sentences. 'I don't give a gaff'. 'rizz' as in charisma (I think). Trying to ignore it to be honest.

In my day this meant bad! “Ahh that’s peak” if something went wrong.

And 'bruh' which is bemusing because she tells me she doesn't know what it means but she knows when to use it! 😆

My 13 year old isn't too bad with the slang so far but I do have to use urban dictionary to understand my students 😂

Drip refers to your fashion/style, so if someone is drippy they are stylish.
